The self-adjusting Active Valve gas system in the Silver autoloaders uses gas from fired shells to operate the action instead of contributing to recoil. The Active Valve-equipped gas piston automatically adjusts to reliably fire a wide range of loads. The Sliver also features a gold-colored trigger and semi-humpback receiver. The Field model features a silver and matte bi-tone receiver, blued barrel, and a satin walnut stock.
